Shoetree is a footwear brand dedicated to providing high-quality shoes that combine comfort and style. As a new entrant in the market, Shoetree faced significant challenges in establishing its online presence and competing with established brands. The objective was to improve search engine rankings, increase CTR, and drive traffic to their website through strategic SEO initiatives.
Upon analyzing Shoetree’s website and online presence, we identified the following key challenges:
Our SEO strategy produced impressive results within six months. Shoetree saw a dramatic increase in clicks, from just 112 initially to 2.56K within six months. Impressions grew significantly from 988 to 69K, while the average position shifted from 16.1 to 29.5.
In terms of brand keywords, Shoetree went from having zero first-page rankings to 14 keywords achieving top positions. Generic keywords showed even stronger growth, with 16 keywords ranking on the first page, 19 on the second page, and significant improvements across all ranking levels. Additionally, keywords that had previously ranked outside the top 50 were effectively eliminated by the end of the campaign.
Despite a decline in CTR from 11% to 3.7%, the significant growth in total clicks and impressions underscored the success of the overall strategy in expanding Shoetree’s online visibility.
We focused on building Shoetree's brand authority by producing high-quality content that targeted both brand and generic keywords. We also improved page structuring, optimized metadata, and ensured technical SEO best practices were followed.
To differentiate Shoetree from the competitor with the same name, we developed a unique content strategy that emphasized Shoetree's unique selling points, ensuring keyword targeting aligned with their brand identity.
We developed a comprehensive content plan that included informative product descriptions, engaging blog content, and optimized landing pages to improve keyword coverage and user engagement.
We closely monitored keyword movements, CTR, impressions, and click performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. This data helped us refine strategies to maintain consistent progress and ensure long-term growth.
